Guido's Pizza offers the ultimate pizza and cheesesteak experience in the Genesse area. The New York style pizza is thin yet strong under their flavorful sauce, and the location is right off of I70 which makes it a great choice for anybody. If you're on your way back from the mountains, this is the perfect choice for lunch or dinner. Locals haven't said much about the service, but the cheap pizza and flavorful calzones are enough to keep them coming back. There is typically a long wait, and they also do not accept credit cards here.

This lovely little county joint offers a nice cafe atmosphere, as well as delicious breakfast and brunch selection. Did we mention their fantastic burgers? Maybe that's the reason why there's often a wait here. There is additional seating available outside when the weather is nice, and we love that the portions are so large. There is something for every palate, and the well seasoned food is sure to be one of your new favorites. The Mossy Rock Omelette is delicious with bacon, portabellas, tomatoes, basil, artichokes, goat cheese and a balsamic drizzle.

Buffalo Moon Coffee Shop is the place to be! This coffee and tea shop is clean and comfortable with a variety of different food options for you to consider, mostly breakfast options. We love that the new owners are putting in the time and effort to bring great hospitality to everybody who comes in the doors here. It's family owned and operated, and there's also a good selection of different crafts and gifts to consider. The Chai tea comes in different variations, and the locals love them all. Come grab a cup of coffee.

Black Hat Cattle is a fancier steakhouse that can be found in the Genesse area. This feels like a restaurant straight out of a magazine, and we love the ambience of the dark wood and dim lighting here. The Cowboy Drumstick is a dry aged French cut bone-in rib eye that the owner hand cuts daily, and seared at 1800 degrees. The wedge salad is the perfect way to get your vegetables in before your amazing steak, and the drinks are always done with a heavy pour. You're really going to want to try out their popular scallop appetizer.

Our next choice here is a traditional American burger and bar establishment, and we can't get enough of the prime location on the river here. The french dip sandwich here is delicious, as is the pulled pork sandwich, as well as the green chili covered breakfast burrito. All of the servers are notably friendly, and the fact that you can be seated right next to the natural beauty that's so prevalent in this area is always another positive. If you're trying to go to a restaurant with great service and better food, check it out.
